Credit Cards
All customers wishing to pay with credit cards may be asked to fax a copy of the front and back of their card and also a copy of the card holders licence or passport showing the card holders name and signature.

SHIPPING POLICY
Delivery Address and Contact Details:
When placing an order with Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist, where we are to deliver goods to you, we require a physical street address. To assist us in processing your order, please also provide your land-line phone number. Please note that an authorized signatory needs to be at the delivery address to sign for and collect the goods, and that photo identification may be requested.
There may be instances where delivery charges may increase slightly due to incorrect data. Before proceeding with any order where the delivery charge has increased, Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist will contact the customer to confirm acceptance.
All orders for delivery do attract Handling charges of $5.95.

For delivery to major State, Territory cities and their surrounding areas, please allow 1-2 working days from date of clearance of payment. For delivery to more remote or rural areas, please allow a further 1-2 days.

International Shipping Insurance
We recommend that more expensive items be shipped with insurance, which generally is charged at $2 for every AU$100 insured plus AU$5.50 fee.
The price quoted for Australia Post International Air includes the insurance fee and the Delivery Confirmation Fee (AU$3.00).
Proof of Delivery
Should you require a proof of delivery at any time (after the standard lead time), please email us on: enquiries@185elgin.com and we will send you a fax copy.
Delivery Carriers
For Australia-wide deliveries we use Australian Air Express (Australia's Premium Delivery Service). For International deliveries we use Express Courier International, Express Post International and AIR Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation.
RETURNS POLICY
Cigars & Tobacco
It is important that you contact us immediately (within 7 days) upon receipt of your cigar shipment if you are wanting to return goods. Cigars may be returned provided the following guidelines are taken into account:
a. Cigars cannot be exchanged unless they are defective or damaged from our end. Each cigar is duly examined prior to delivery by our experienced staff for quality control or any signs of damage. Upon receiving cigars, please note that they should be stored at the correct temperature (18C) and humidity (72%). b. Contact us in order to indicate the reason for your return. If you have adequate reason for a return, we shall ask you to wrap the package securely. For your protection, we recommend that you use Insured Parcel post for shipment.
Other Products
Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist offers a 7 day return policy on selected items based on manufacturer return policies. For further information not listed,please contact enquiries@185elgin.com.
Returns may not be accepted without a valid invoice number. For faster service, please have the following information on hand when calling for a return order: customer name, invoice number, serial number and the reason for the return. All products returned MUST be 100 percent complete and contain ALL original manufacturer boxes and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment.
For warranty claims on faulty goods, if we receive a product that is found to be non-faulty, a $50 non-fault fee will be payable.
Shipping charges on returned items are the customer's responsibility. Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist will match the shipping method and pay for shipping on replacement or exchange item(s).
For your protection, we strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage. Please use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery.
DEFECTIVE returns (not including cigars) can be returned directly to Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist within 30 days from the invoice date, at Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist's discretion for credit, replacement, exchange or repair.
After 7 days, all manufacturers' warranties apply.
NON-DEFECTIVE returns can be accepted directly by Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist within 7 days from the invoice date, at Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist's discretion for credit or exchange.
All NON-DEFECTIVE returns are subject to a 20 percent restocking fee. Elgin Lotto & Tobacconist reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 7 days from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after 7 days, credit will be issued toward FUTURE PURCHASES ONLY. Original shipping charges are not refunded on returned items. |
